Position Summary:

The Senior Internal Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and integrating internal control operations, enterprise risk management, operational audits, contract/legal review, insurance management, and compliance. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role aims to minimize the company’s risk exposure, enhance the stability and efficiency of operational processes, and strengthen overall corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Internal Control Operations & Improvement

- Operate and maintain the internal control framework; design process risks and controls (RCM, flowcharts)

- Monitor and improve key controls
-
- Perform Test of Design (ToD) and Test of Operating Effectiveness (ToOE)
-
- Review system-based controls, including ERP access and Segregation of Duties (SoD)
-
- Validate controls over operational processes such as sales, procurement, inventory, and production
-
- Conduct asset verification and related control activities
-
- Establish and enhance policies, procedures, and SOPs; provide training to relevant stakeholders
-

2. Operational Audit
-
- Perform audits of key operational processes (sales, procurement, inventory, production, etc.)
-
- Identify audit findings and follow up on remediation actions
-
- Develop improvement plans and support business functions in implementation
-

3. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
-
- Identify, assess, and prioritize enterprise-wide risks
-
- Develop and track risk mitigation action plans
-
- Prepare risk analysis reports for senior management
-
- Conduct Fraud Risk Assessments and implement preventive measures
-

4. Legal Management (Contract & Legal Review)
-
- Review customer and vendor contracts (sales agreements, procurement/service contracts, NDAs, etc.)
-
- Analyze risk-related clauses, including indemnification, limitation of liability, and payment terms
-
- Standardize contract processes and minimize contractual risks
-
- Provide initial response to disputes and collaborate with external legal counsel
-
5. Insurance Management
-
- Manage company-wide insurance programs (property, product liability, general liability, logistics, etc.)
-
- Handle insurance renewals, premium reviews, and coverage optimization
-
- Manage insurance claims and coordinate with loss adjusters in case of incidents
-
- Assess insurance risks related to new businesses and assets
-

6. Compliance & Governance

- Monitor compliance with regulations (fair trade, subcontracting laws, data privacy, etc.)

- Manage and provide training on company policies, procedures, Delegation of Authority (DoA), and Roles & Responsibilities (R&R)
Professional Experience & Competencies:
-
- 5~10 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, or related fields (required)
-
- 5~10 years of experience in financial reporting and closing processes (preferred)
-
- Practical experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) or internal audit
-
- Experience in process-driven industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or logistics

- Strong understanding of ERP-based operational processes (sales, procurement, inventory)

- Capability in contract/legal review

- Experience in insurance management and risk management

- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and training skills
-
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions
-
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal), with the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with global finance and internal control teams
